£40ph for parts 2 & 3 training is about the same as some of the bigger training providers, however at Digby Driving School, all training is guaranteed 1:1. You will have your own personal trainer for the entire duration of your training. It will be entirely road-based. No class-room or distance learning. Providers are allowed to operate with 75% of their training as class-room based or even by remote learning. The other 25% can be with one trainer working with 2 trainees. This is NOT how Digby Driving School operates. We believe in a truly personalised approach to the entirety of your training. We also do not tie you in to a long, compulsory and expensive franchise after qualifying. Neither do we insist you buy a new car! There are no hidden extras when you train with Digby Driving School. We believe we provide the best possible learning environment shaped by providers with decades of experience in education.
Upon receipt of your Trainee (Pink) licence you will need to purchase a Digby Driving School branded roof box (Current cost £117). You will be supplied with branded work wear free of charge if you would like it.
When you receive your Trainee licence your franchise with Digby Driving School will begin. This franchise contract will continue for a minimum 6 months after gaining your Part 3 qualification. Franchise costs are £50 per week. You can cancel your franchise agreement at any time after this 6 month period by giving 4 week's notice in writing.

A final thought on costs.
I hope you will compare training provision from Digby Driving School with other providers both nationally and locally. If you add up all the associated costs of training to become a driving instructor, you will see that costs vary significantly. At first glance, Digby Driving School may appear slightly more expensive than some; at least in the short term. However most of this cost is up-front. We do not tie you in to long contracts with expensive on-going fees. After you have qualified, your ongoing expenses will be minimal. We will actively help you to keep your running costs down to a minimum once you have qualified. Sadly, the same can't be said of all ADI training providers. For this reason, we believe the cost and quality of training provided by Digby Driving School represents outstanding value for money. I look forward to meeting you.
